Wood Kitchen with Glass Display Cabinet & Wine Cooler

Warm timber against cool stone: this open-plan kitchen in a contemporary villa combines a full wall of wood-finish tall units with a crisp white stone island and a suspended black extractor.

The tall wall does most of the work. It hides the fridge, pantry and appliances behind flush wood doors, frames a marble-effect niche with a built-in wine cooler, and ends in a floor-to-ceiling display cabinet with smoked glass in slim black frames for glassware and bottles. The vertical grain of the doors lines up across the whole run, so the wall reads like one piece of furniture.

• Floor-to-ceiling tall units in a warm wood finish
• Smoked glass display cabinet with black aluminium frames and glass shelves
• Integrated wine cooler in a marble-effect niche
• Island with a thick white stone worktop and waterfall ends

The same timber tone continues into the wall cladding of the living area, tying the kitchen into the rest of the home. The kitchen was produced by a partner joinery workshop in our network and priced after a free site visit and measurement.
