Do you supply the frames and handles too?
Yes. Doors are normally supplied complete with frames, architraves, hinges, locks and handles so that everything matches and closes correctly. You choose the handle style during the site visit.
Can you fit doors in old stone houses with uneven walls?
Yes. Craftsmen measure each opening and can make frames to suit thick or uneven walls, which is common in traditional village houses.
What is the difference between a sliding and a pocket door?
A sliding door runs along the face of the wall, while a pocket door slides into a cassette inside the wall and disappears completely. Pocket doors need some building work but free up the most space.
Which doors are best for a rental apartment?
HPL or laminate doors are very hard-wearing and easy to clean, which makes them a good choice for rentals and Airbnb units.
