Small kitchens benefit most from good joinery. This apartment kitchen fits a lot of storage into a short L-shaped run while keeping a calm, uncluttered look.

White handleless fronts make the units almost disappear into the white walls, and the wall cabinets go right up to the ceiling so there is no dusty gap on top and nearly twice the storage. The extractor is built into the wall units, the sink sits in a grey stone-effect worktop, and a run of deep drawers replaces awkward base cupboards.
